Color Story

This project explores the use of color by implementing a triad color palette with an emphasis on yellow.

3D Exploration - body animation from Mixamo, hair animation & line boil on environment by myself.

Visual Development

This color indication comes into play by using positive and negative story arcs.

1. Positive Frame: Chill/relaxed
Establishing shot of a new set of waves rolling in.

2. Positive Frame: Excited/stoked
excited for the new set and yelling “Chee-Hoo” face started to turn to get ready for transition.

3. Transition Frame: Excited/stoked
She runs down to the water. Hair flow helps swipe the transition.

4. Negative Frame: Annoyed/upset.
Shot starts with only her in the frame then another surfer tries to cut her off.

5. Transition Frame: Annoyed/upset
Close up of her annoyed face as she goes to cut the other surfer off her wave.

6. Positive Frame: Chill/relaxed.
She successfully got the other surfer off her wave and she wins the barrel.
